Kumbh Mela (especially the Maha Kumbh Mela) is the most sacred of all pilgrimages Hinduism visited by millions of people in one day.

It is a mammoth fair, saints and devotees gather. Allahabad, Haridwar, Nasik and Ujjain: it is from time to time in four different cities in India instead. The (half) Ardh Kumbhfair is celebrated every six years at Haridwar and Allahabad, while the Purna (complete) Kumbh fair always takes place at Allahabad every twelve years.
